Rise of the Machine

This installation explores this use of machines to make music, A countdown timer takes a light readings of the room at 1 second intervals. When the timer reaches zero a complex algorithm uses the readings to make a musical composition. When the composition is played it is erased from memory and the countdown timer restarts.
